Red Paper Kite is a small Australian publishing house that produces distinctive, beautiful picture books. I\u2019ve admired their illustrator roster for ages (I once entered their \u201cFairies, Dragons, Hungry Bears and Warrior Princesses\u201d contest). This time they asked me to create an autumn homepage cover \u2014 naturally about books: a cheerful gathering of woodland friends over tea, trading favourite stories.<\/p>\n\n
