What is Cvetka?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Cvetka Herbal Estate is a business owned by Katarina Kova\u010di\u010d, a biotechnology graduate. She found her love and passion in nature. All the herbs you find in their aromatic products are organically grown, hand-sown, transplanted, hoed several times, harvested and properly dried.<\/p>\n

Herbs in little bottles are the best!<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Working with Cvetka was fun, interesting and educational all at once. It was my first time creating illustrations specifically for packaging. Are you also one of those whose weak spot is cosmetics? Personally I’m a huge cosmetics enthusiast, so it’s deeply fulfilling to see my artwork on cute little bottles filled with amazing herbal scents.<\/p>\n

What did I create?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

I created 5 labels for 5 different Cvetka products: bubble bath, toothpaste, moisturising cream, sunscreen and shampoo\/shower gel. Each label contains illustrations of all the herbs that make up the product. I wanted a design that would cover most of the label yet not feel too aggressive. It was also a big challenge to depict characters that would tell their story on such a small surface. I took my time with this project because I felt I needed to learn about the herbs to depict them as authentically as possible. Working with a limited colour palette meant making sure the characters on all products appeared harmonious and connected into a whole.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I’m very happy that Cvetka saw potential in my illustrations for their products intended for the youngest. As a mother of three I can say the products are high quality, our family enjoys using them and with these beauties on the shelves our bathroom looks much more charming. I’m sure you’d like them too!<\/p>\n
