\n

A very special little book for all small and big animal lovers\u2014 and especially for anyone just thinking about inviting a friendly furry companion into the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book began as a gift to her dog Ego, now a dignified old gentleman. It was written by Nu\u0161a Jezer\u0161ek. The lovely interior illustrations were contributed by pupils from various primary schools across Slovenia\u2014 among them my eldest, Svit. Darja Malari\u010d gathered them into a beautiful bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceeds from the sale of Od mladi\u010dka do fanti\u010dka<\/strong> will go to organisations working for the welfare of abandoned animals, including the first educational farm \u201cV pravljici\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
