January calendar page depicting Winter

Despite 2020 being one of the most unusual years so far, I still decided to honour it with my own calendar. It comprises 12 illustrations that I started to create in 2019 already.

Each illustration is a reflection of its own dreamy-like, surreal reality. The calendar was published as a limited edition and was much bigger in size (30 x 30) than last year’s miniature version.

Also, the 2020 edition is a wall format whereas last year’s isn’t. All in all, I can say that even though 2020 has been the year of the pandemic, which surprised many of us and turned our lives upside down, I am very happy to defy it just a little bit each month with my own creations. If you can find only a grain of hope in them, all the better.
