I kind of neglected this cute little thing and never took the time to properly introduce it to you. I feel a bit guilty—especially because its very content suggests I should have done the opposite. But never mind; I’ll tell you more now. Maybe it’s just what you need in these summer days when we pause a little, breathe more calmly, and wonder where on earth the first half of the year ran off to.

If you’ve been following Zoki.art for a while, you’ll remember the Tea Tales illustrations as the series that brightened up the 2021 calendar. If you only discovered Zoki.art recently, I’m glad you’re meeting Čajne zgodbice now—in a refreshed format.
WHY Tea Tales and a Memory Game?
“Stories to Remember” were born for several reasons. One was that I’m emotionally and personally attached to the Tea Tales series and I kept pondering how—and in what form—I could bring them back to life. It felt a shame for those cheeky little characters mixing all sorts of herbs to stay hidden away in a drawer where nothing smells of anything. Hence the title – Zgodbice za zapomnit.
I like running at 300 rpm. That’s just who I am and it suits me—until I burn out, of course. 😛 Then I need a pause. That was the second, very important reason this tabletop game came to life.

I was even surprised by what an excellent gadget it is for scrunching up those brain folds! Or maybe I was more surprised by the fact mine are already ironed flat. Kids wipe the floor with me like I’m a little old granny. My brain, compared with theirs, crawls along like an old dog’s… well, you know. Damn them—they remember every pair instantly. I only remember that I’ve seen that picture somewhere before. 😀

I invite you to look away from the black screen and enjoy 10 minutes with the Čajne štorije every day. I’d love it if you tell me how you feel after 14 days—and how many times it was your turn to make pancakes (see the game instructions)! And if you really report back, I’ll send you a little extra gift!
