A very special little book for all small and big animal lovers— and especially for anyone just thinking about inviting a friendly furry companion into the family.
The book began as a gift to her dog Ego, now a dignified old gentleman. It was written by Nuša Jezeršek. The lovely interior illustrations were contributed by pupils from various primary schools across Slovenia— among them my eldest, Svit. Darja Malarič gathered them into a beautiful bouquet.
Proceeds from the sale of Od mladička do fantička will go to organisations working for the welfare of abandoned animals, including the first educational farm “V pravljici”.
