For the best user experience, we recommend that you enable cookies.
What are cookies?
“Cookies” are small text files that most websites (in addition to websites, including emails, online services, advertising and interactive applications) place on users’ devices (computer, mobile device, etc.) when they visit a particular website, and typically contain:
the name of the server from which the cookie was sent;
the lifetime of the cookie;
a value – usually a randomly generated unique number.
On each return visit, the website will retrieve the cookie and identify the user’s device.
The cookie itself does not contain or collect personally identifiable information, but if users provide this information to the website themselves, for example by registering, this may be linked to the information stored in the cookie. If the server reads the cookie together with the web browser, this may help the website to provide a more user-friendly service. Only the server that sent the cookie can read and use the cookie.” (Source)
Why are cookies necessary?
“Cookies are important to the functioning of websites and are fundamental to providing user-friendly online services that improve the user experience. The most common e-commerce functions would not be possible without cookies.” (Source)
