Another beautiful book that slipped under my skin — and yes, I designed the cover too!
It’s From Puppy to Lad (Od mladiča do fantiča), a story by the wonderful Nuša Jezeršek that I was thrilled to help bring to life.
Read more at this link. But careful — it isn’t “just” a book about a dog. It’s about compassion, growth (emotional too), responsibility… and yes, love.

Nuša and I didn’t stop at the printed page. We rolled up our sleeves and stepped straight into a classroom at Secondary School Zagorje to run a workshop on non‑violent communication.
Nuša introduced a very special little lady — Kira the dog — who carries a heavy past. She was removed from abuse. Nuša is slowly teaching her that the world isn’t only rough; it can be kind, gentle and safe.
We explored with students how non‑violent communication isn’t just human‑to‑human — it’s peer, cross‑species and human‑animal (yes, you read that right).
Because Kira is still searching for a home, they used lively words and visual cues to craft her a tiny advert — fun, compassionate, creative — one that might truly open the door to a kinder life. 🐾

For me it was one of those hold‑onto days.
And because I know heart‑made books always nudge you a little, here’s a note: From Puppy to Lad is now in my online shop. Click, click — and it’s already on its way.
