I had long wanted to create colourful, happy products that would bring me good cheer all year round. For quite a while the idea was forming—how they should look, which items to make and in what exact format. It took me almost twelve months to realise it and this is what finally emerged. I’m very happy with the result.

Notebooks
I created two versions of the notebooks and of course both carry dreamy motifs. They are A5 in size; one is blue and the other yellow. The blue shades carry you into another world, the yellow brings you back. It mattered to me that the notebooks have plenty of pages, sit nicely in the hand and don’t look scrawny—so each one has 100 sheets. The outside is especially lovely: soft and pleasant to the touch. At first I thought they should be lined, but I dropped that idea because the ruled lines felt distracting alongside the illustrations. The combination of a rich cover image and blank, open space inside feels cleaner and far more beautiful.
Notepads
I also created two types of notepads. The larger ones measure 18×15 cm, the smaller 10×10 cm. I chose a floral pattern in warm pink tones. They’ll cheer you up every time you walk into your workspace—like having a vase of fresh flowers on your desk all the time. Each pad also has 100 sheets. Every design was painted by hand.
In the End…
It mattered to me that the notebooks and notepads feel like a harmonious set. It’s no accident that blue, yellow and pink appear across them and that certain elements repeat in all three motifs. Because they match so well they make a lovely gift.
