Sometimes two creative paths cross so naturally it feels they were always headed for collaboration. That’s what happened when I got to work with Icelandic composer Lana Sigurdsson. That’s how the magic for her new album Soaring Ballerina was born.
Lana’s way of weaving classical tones with ethereal melody swept me straight into a world of ballet, fairytales and dream states. Her pieces are like dancing on clouds: feather‑light yet deeply emotional.
Designing the cover, I wanted to bottle that essence — movement, elegance, the freedom the music carries. The result is a visual translation of sound inviting the listener into a space where music and illustration merge as one seamless atmosphere.
